Performing-heARTS is an inclusive performing arts organization dedicated to creating joyful and accessible opportunities for children and young adults with special needs to sing, dance, act, and express themselves. Founded in 2021 by Jordyn Brandman, Performing-heARTS began with a simple belief: everyone deserves a place to perform, connect, and feel celebrated. What started as virtual musical theater classes has grown into a community built around creativity, confidence, friendship, and a shared love of the performing arts. Through interactive classes, special events, theater camps, and collaborations with community organizations, Performing-heARTS creates experiences where every participant is encouraged to be themselves, try something new, and take center stage. Our programs are designed to meet performers where they are, celebrating individual strengths while creating an environment where everyone can participate in their own way. At the heart of Performing-heARTS is the joy that comes from making music and performing together. Whether we're learning a new dance, singing a favorite song, exploring a character, or simply cheering one another on, our goal is for every performer to leave feeling more confident, connected, and proud of what they accomplished.
